In April 2022 we returned to the impressive Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum just outside of McMinnville, Oregon. What started two decades ago as a single building — a hanger to house the incredible Spruce Goose airplane, which turns 75 this year — is now four buildings, a hanger full of planes and aviation equipment, a hanger full of space-related items, including a spectacular Titan II rocket, a movie and event theater, and a waterpark for families. The main focus of the collection is Cold War, but there are pieces from throughout aviation history.
