Schreiner's Iris Gardens, May 2019
May in Oregon means it’s time to visit Schreiner's Iris Gardens, north of Salem. For whatever reason, the farm fields of irises I have enjoyed so much in previous years were not available, but the spectacularly curated show gardens were open (for a $2 fee) and did not disappoint. They overflowed with irises, peonies, poppies, and more. Such gorgeousness. And the aromas! Elaine Schimek and I had great time there.
