Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest 2019
When springtime arrives in Oregon, it’s time for the Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest to open. All of us from the region hop in our cars and trucks and voyage to the farm outside the town of Canby (and not too far north of Silverton). Between April showers, Elaine and I ventured down from Portland to the always delightful tulip fields. This year, 2019, the farm is open to the public from March 23 through April 29. If you have not been, I recommend visiting this farm’s surreal beauty. What is more fun than rows and rows of spectacular tulips! What’s more there are food carts and games and vendors. Fun for the family.
