Professional welder Nate Bowman and I shot together by Portland's Broadway Bridge at night in January 2017. It had been a long time since I was able to shoot some welding, so it was great fun to re-learn the basics of getting good shots with that much variation of light. Can't wait for the next opportunity to shoot with him! What's more fun that sparks of fire? Not much.

Actress/model/comedian/multi-talent Laura Welsh and I shot together September 25, 2016, at the Milwaukie Riverfront Park. The sun was blasting like July, so I had fun overexposing the shots a little with my 50mm 1.4 lens. No shot was edited except for one that was cropped to a square.
Portland, Oregon, is full of great creative people. Singer Eve Connell is one of them. In February 2017 we shot together at Sellwood Riverfront Park in southeast Portland. With her charm and fearlessness, she's like our town's own Mary Tyler Moore. It was fun to capture some of that spirit.
