Elaine Schimek and I stopped by the Tacoma Art Museum in June 2019 with Matt Wakefield from Travel Tacoma to check out the museum’s new Benaroya Wing expansion, which has added exciting new gallery space to showcase some fantastic art pieces from the Benaroya family collection. This expansion further solidifies Tacoma’s position as one of the premier spots for glass art in America.
