Palazzetto Pisani, Venice

In December 2015, I traveled to Venice, Italy, for a few shoots and a lot of R&R. One quick shoot was at the dazzling Palazzetto Pisani, which is a hotel on the Grand Canal, across from the Guggenheim and the Accademia. What a place! Great atmosphere, great details. I felt like I'd stepped right into the Italy of E.M. Forster or Henry James. The antique charms of Venice at the end of the 19th century it seems can still be found here.

See all my Venetian posts.

I shot with an iPhone 6 Plus, a Canon 6D with an 85mm 1.2 lens, and a Canon t3i with an 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 lens. None of the images is edited.

Nice person in Portland, Oregon, and beyond.
