I am preparing to move to a new area here, so it was a little bittersweet. So here is something of a goodbye to my 10 years (next month) in Portland's Richmond district.

Opening Day at the AC Hotel Portland
I was invited to the opening of the new AC Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. They built it in what was a funny old vacant lot that everyone just used as a shortcut at a busy intersection. The best part of it for me, hands down, is they have a bunch of local artwork and local food and drinks...
OMHT Lake Project: Enid Lake, or Getting Lost Trying to Find It
In November 2015 I worked with Oregon's Mount Hood Territory (OMHT) to explore seven (and a half) lakes south of Mount Hood in 48 hours. This post is on that "half lake," as it were. It is on Enid Lake, a supposedly fun little spot just west Government Camp, Oregon... Or rather, this post would be about Enid, except I could not find it!
