Slide Rock State Park, Sedona

In March 2016 I had a quick trip to Sedona, Arizona, to take pics for Visit Sedona. Between scheduled stops we visited Slide Rock State Park, a little north of town. It has an amazing natural water slide where Oak Creek cuts through a narrow canyon of bright red rock. Also, the sides of the canyon form a sort of amphitheater where people can sit and watch the swimmers (sliders) go past them. The park was nearly empty, which was lovely, so I could really appreciate the setting, especially the surrounding mountains, but I'd love to return to take pictures when the creek area is packed full of people.
