Just east of Juneau, Alaska, along Taku Inlet are a series of mighty glaciers. Era Flightseeing took me atop one, the Norris, via helicopter; once there dogsleds took me around the awe-inspiring glacial world. The folks at Era could not have been nicer or more professional; I never felt unsafe, but we still had a blast! I definitely recommend taking a trip with them...

Just before Halloween 2016, the Portland Instagram group had a fun little instameet at Fir Point Farms in Aurora, Oregon. Pumpkins were everywhere of course, but so were goats and bunnies and horses and donkeys... plus games like Cornhole and badminton. We feasted on ice cream, donuts, freshly pressed cider. Probably the most fun though was the corn maze -- so beautiful...
