In a follow-up to my previous post, which was shot with digital imagery, here is a collection of film photography. These were taken with my Canon AE-1, still hanging on from the late 1970s. A great little camera and a ton of fun to shoot with, even on a dark and rainy Portland day. And seriously, if you find yourself in SE Portland, be sure to check out the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. It’s a lovely little spot with good accessibility and it’s family friendly.

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, March '24

On a cool drizzly early spring morning, there were plenty of beautiful sights in the garden, from honking geese to blooming flowers of various varieties (including, yes, rhododendrons). Oh, and one huge nutria.
