Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm (Set 2 of 2), April 2024

On an absolutely lovely spring day in the farmland of Oregon’s Willamette valley, it was the perfect time to return to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. This tulip farm is a beloved area landmark and is often packed with families and dogs every April. Today was no exception, but the farm is large with plenty of tulips, plenty of parking, and plenty of elbow room for everyone. On this trip with Elaine, I brought two cameras, one with a 50mm lens and one with an 85mm. Additionally, I brought a blue cromofilter that had the center cut out to create a little vignette effect. (You can see it in my hand in the “I love tulips” photo that Elaine took of me.)

This is post two of two, and it features the 85mm photographs. (The other post features the 50mm shots.)

Nice person in Portland, Oregon, and beyond.
